My Work History & Experience

I started work within the legal sector in 2000, after five years working for an accountancy practice auditing and preparing accounts for law firms.

My Time at Ward Gethin Archer

I joined Ward Gethin Archer in January 2015 as the Head of Finance.

In April 2017 I became the firm's first non-lawyer manager, an accountant by profession, and the firm's Finance Director.

I have responsibility for managing all aspects of the firm's finances, including client money transactions, and am also the nominated Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA).

In May 2018 I was appointed the firm’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).

In my time here, I have always been struck by the commitment of staff to provide a great service to clients, and their receptiveness to make changes to the way we deliver services to improve that.

As Finance Director I love the fact that our lawyers are commercially focused, whilst at the same time friendly and caring towards their clients.
